Opera Projekt

Das Italienische Trio, das anfangs 2014 für Furore auf dem Lindenhof sorgte, kommt zurück und eröffnet die Saison 2016/2017 mit dem neusten Programm : « Opera Projekt ». Unter diesem Konzept Programm werden wir Arrangements, die speziell auf das Trio zugeschnitten sind, mit Werken von Giacomo Rossini, Vincenzo Bellini, Gaetano Donizetti, Giuseppe Verdi, Pietro Mascagni und Giacomo Puccini hören. Wir sind sehr gespannt auf diese Première der Saison 2016 – 2017.

The Trio made his début in 1996 in Busseto, birthplace of Maestro Giuseppe Verdi. Ensemble’s main objective is to enhance the greatness and richness of the IXX century Italian artistic heritage and the rare XX century repertoire. The particular instrumental symbiosis of flute, bassoon and piano, create an extraordinary ensemble, full of musical richness, with a refined blend of “bel canto” and virtuoso playing, very rare these days. After many european concert tours, the Trio is getting more and more a standing an enthousiastic welcome.



Giuseppe Nova

Arena di Verona "Graduated from the Conservatory in Turin and Conservatoire Supérieur de Lyon where he studied with the celebrated Maxence Larrieu. Described as one of the most outstanding Italian flutists of his generation, Mr. Nova made his debut in 1982 as a soloist with the RAI Symphony Orchestra. This marked the beginning of a brilliant career which has led him to perform in the most prestigious concert halls in Europe, the United States and Asia (Japan, Thailand, China, Korea, Singapour). Soloist with several Orchestras, such as Prague Virtuosi, Ensemble of Tokyo, Orchestre de Cannes Côte d'Azur, Camerata Bohemica, Arena di Verona Orchestra, Turin Philharmonic, Tübinger Kammerorchester, Thailand Philharmonic, Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, in prestigious concert halls and Festivals, like Suntory Hall Tokyo, Rome Parco della Musica, Umbria Jazz, Washington Italian Embassy, Teatro Filarmonico in Verona. He taught at the Accademia di Pescara, at the Arts Academy Foundation in Rome, at the Scuola di Saluzzo, at Geneva Conservatory, Visiting artist at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, USA, he now teaches at the Conservatoire de la Vallée d'Aoste. He has recorded extensively (Camerata Tokyo, Universal). Giuseppe Nova received the Lifetime Achievement Award in Kyoto, he has performed at the G20 in Guatemala City and in 2011 he received in Prague the European Award for Artistic and Cultural activities. He’s regularly invited by the Conservatoire de Lausanne and the Conservatoire Supérieur de Lyon as Expert Juror for Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees.



Rino Vernizzi


Bassoonist and a leading figure in the musical life of Italy, winner of five Competitions, Rino Vernizzi has been the bassoon solo in the most important Italian orchestras (first of all the Orchestra RAI of Turin and the Orchestra of the Opera of Genoa). He has has a long and busy international concert career, performing as a soloist with conductors such as Carlo Maria Giulini, Giuseppe Sinopoli, Kurt Masur, Neville Marriner, Daniel Oren, Daniele Gatti, Chung, and also working in chamber ensembles with distinguished musicians. He has performed at the Settimane Internazionali in Naples, at the Filarmonica Romana and other important Festivals, touring and holding Master Classes in Europe, the Soviet Union, the United States of America, Australia and Japan. He has several TV and radio recordings (RAI, RSI, WDR etc.) and numerous personal recordings to his credit. He is a versatile musician and he has also perfected his studies of piano and composition, devoting himself to different musical experiences and appearing, among other things, as one of the very few jazz bassoonist: his last CDs, Etnoart Jazz Bassoon, Goldberg Jazz e Baby Boom received a big acclaim from press reviews. His most recent recording, such as The quartet Season, Jazz Frames and Pulses will be presented soon. He is Solo bassoon in the Orchestra of the “Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia” in Rome.



Giorgio Costa


He graduate with full marks at the "Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi" in Turin in 1977, and then he specialized with Maestro Alberto Mozzati and with Maestro Fausto Zadra at the "Ecole Internationale de Piano de Lausanne". In 1985, the wish to broaden his musical knowledge, persuaded him to follow the "Phaenomenologie der Musik" Course, held by Sergiu Celibidache in the Mainz University. In 1988 he partecipated at the Master Class held by Murray Perahia in Florence. Presently, he plays both as recitalist and as soloist with orchestra, with chamber music groups and as a partner of famous soloists. He made concert tours all around Europe: France, England, Belgium, Swizerland, Germany, Hungaria, Rumania and he also performed few times in Japan. He holds teaching positions in the  "Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi" in Cuneo and in the "Scuola Superiore di Musica" in Aosta.
